The investment obtained through the Gold Visas in Portugal reached 52.8 million euros in June, representing an increase of 34.6% over the homologous period of 2017.
According to Agência Lusa, the Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF) reports that in June, the investment resulting from Golden Visas, also called Residence Permit for the Investment Activity (ARI), reached 52,849,429.34 euros, an increase of 39,250,091.91 euros compared to 2017.
Of the total amount invested in June, the majority refers to the purchase of real estate (49.751.115,83 euros).
Chinese citizens continue to be the most interested in this program (3,890). Following are the Brazilians (561), the South Africans (254), the Turks (224) and the Russians (222).
