The tourist flow continues to increase in Portugal. In the first three months of 2018, air traffic grew by 12.8% in Lisbon and 7.3% in Porto, reveals the "Correio da Manhã" on Tuesday.
According to data from ANA - Aeroportos de Portugal, Lisbon airport registered, on average, in the first quarter of the year, about 22 flights per hour - that is, 522 per day; Porto airport had 215 daily movements, an average of 9 aircraft per hour.
This increase in traffic corresponds to an increase in the number of passengers, which reached between January and March the six million passengers, according to data released on Monday by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
Still according to INE, TAP accounts for almost 42% of passenger movements at airports.
