Music Season of the Cape Espichel Opera House Is Back

This year, the Music Season of the Cape Espichel Opera House runs from March 23 to April 20, 2019, in the Municipality of Sesimbra. Will happen in places of great patrimonial interest, such as the Church of Our Lady of Consolation of the Castle, the Chapel of the Holy Spirit of the Mareantes or the Fortress of Santiago, and presents more than dozens of initiatives, mostly music shows. There will also be the Bastien and Bastienne opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and several short stories and yoga classes for the youngest.

Inspired by the old Opera House of the Cape Espichel, built in 1770, and by which the greatest artists and theatre groups in Europe passed, there is a season dedicated to classical music in 2008, which over the years has brought to Sesimbra some of the most renowned national interpreters, becoming one of the main cultural posters of Sesimbra and the region.
