City of Lisbon distinguished with the "2019 Smart 50 Awards"

The Lisbon Municipality received the "Smart 50 Awards" awarded by the Smart Cities Connect, US Ignite and Smart Cities Connect Foundation to the Lisbon Intelligent Management Platform (PGIL), which was implemented through the NEC solutions platform.

PGIL is built on NEC's Cloud City Operations Center (CCOC), integrating 10 internal systems managed by the municipality of Lisbon and 30 external systems managed by various partners in the municipality, and providing real-time data from different IoT sources and devices for efficient management of the occurrences of the city.

NEC is also providing an Artificial Intelligence-based video analytics solution, NEC IAPRO, which supports the municipality in automatically identifying and alerting potential security risks.
