Meet the ten new squares of Lisbon

The Plaza de España is the most important intervention of the municipal program Uma Praça Em Cada Bairro, which has two hands-filled projects in its portfolio: from Sete Rios and São Sebastião da Pedreira to Alameda do Beato and to the contested Mouraria Square. The goal is always the same: to create new centres, to make room for cars and to give back public space to those who walk.
