Lisbon will buy greener electric to extend the line of 15

A public tender was launched for the acquisition of 15 new articulated electric cars in Lisbon. Larger (28.5m), more modern, greener and will reach further. Line 15, which currently runs the distance between Praça da Figueira and Algés, will be strengthened and you will see its wide range of action: you will reach Cruz Quebrada, Santa Apolónia and Parque das Nações.

The tender now launched foresees an investment of 45 million euros and will be financed in its entirety by Carris.
