Air traffic at Portuguese airports, managed by ANA, grew 6.8% in 2018, with 55 million people passing through national territory, the French group VINCI Airports, which owns ANA, said Friday in a statement. Humberto Delgado airport in Lisbon rose 8.9% year on year, receiving 29 million people in 2018. This growth represents a new annual record, which is repeated at least since 2013, despite "space limitations", says the company. Looking back at 2013, the first year in which ANA was fully privatized, we see that the number of passengers passing through Portela is almost the same as in that year at all Portuguese airports - 29.5 million passengers.
