This walk begins and ends in castles with incredible views

There´s still some time left for January 27, a Sunday, but it is not too early to make plans. It is on that day that a walk will happen that begins in castles with incredible views and the inscriptions are already open.

The meeting point is in the Castle of Palmela, where you can leave the car and take a bus to the Castle of Sesimbra, where the walk begins. From there, participants climb up to the Louro Range, from where it is possible to see Lisbon, the São Luís and Formosinho mountains, as well as Troia and, of course, the ocean. The arrival to Palmela will be at dusk, where you can enjoy the view of the viewpoint of the castle.

But attention: the route is of high difficulty. In total, they are made 30 kilometers in about nine hours. This, of course, always with the accompaniment of a guide.

Green Trekker advises wearing comfortable clothing and footwear. Do not forget to bring water (at least two liters) and snacks.

Registration costs €20 per person and is made online. The amount includes a guide on the ground, transportation between Palmela and Sesimbra and personal accident and liability insurance. The minimum age limit to participate is 15 years.
