Lisbon among the Most Searched for European Cities in Airbnb for Easter

Lisbon is the fifth most searched for city in Europe in Airbnb for Easter holidays

According to the report about destination trends for Easter holidays in Europe – Easter Trending Destination Europe –, prepared by the house renting and experience booking platform in countries all around the world, Lisbon is among the cities with the most scheduled visits in this time period.

Among the portuguese destinations most searched for are, the city of Porto, the region of Algarve and the region of Setubal, followed by Madeira and Açores. According to this report, among the list of the 20 most searched for cities for this time of year are destinations from north to south of Portugal, incluiding Leiria, Aveiro, Braga, Coimbra, Viana do Castelo, Beja, Évora and Viseu.

Portugal is the 11th country with more prospected guests for these holidays—around 92 thousand. Paris, London, Rome and Barcelona are among the top chosen cities for Easter time. After Lisbon comes the city of Madrid.

Regarding the most booked Airbnb Experiences in Portugal, the favorite is “Sintra by Locals”, that sets out to do a historical and gastronomic visit along the village of Sintra. “Lisbon best Flavours” continues to be one of the most booked experiences in the capital, and “The Secret Recipe of the Francesinha” in Porto.
