Algarve is once again Europe's Best Beach Destination and makes history

The Algarve won the Oscar for Best Beach Destination in Europe and achieved historic value. Never a destination has won seven distinctions in a World Travel Awards category, six of them in a row.

The hot water beaches were already being recognized by tour operators from all over Europe. But in a year marked by the pandemic, the World Travel Awards committee will have taken into account the good practices applied to avoid contagion.
