Lisbon is one of the most culturally dynamic European cities

Lisbon is the most dynamic European city of the same size, says the second edition of the Observatory on Cultural and Creative Cities, an online tool by the European Commission to assess the performance of cities.

Portugal appears again among the countries that most promote "new jobs in the creative sector", is represented here by Faro, first, and Guimarães and Sintra, second, between cities of the same size.

The city of Faro once again emerges in a privileged position, but this time in fifth place in the "local and international connections".

According to the European Commission, the main cultural and creative cities are more prosperous: there is a positive and significant association between the Cultural and Creative City Index scores and the income levels of cities.
