Arrábida Cycle Route Guide Now Available

Cycling lovers already have the Arrábida Cycle Routes Guide, a guide for visitors who want to know the region by bicycle. The Guide is now available, in digital format, on the website of FPC - Portuguese Cycling Federation (www.fpciclismo.pt).

Arrábida Natural Park offers conditions for cycling throughout the year. The Guide suggests 13 routes, divided by the districts of Palmela, Setúbal and Sesimbra, which take the cyclists through the most striking points of the region. In order to ensure that all cyclists, from the best trained to the casual user of the bicycle, have the possibility to enjoy the Serra da Arrábida, the routes were divided in four degrees of difficulty, depending on the distance and the positive slope accumulated.

The Guide also provides information on places of interest to visit by tourists on the bicycle, geographical and meteorological characterization of the region, tourist offices and existing bicycle shops.
