Starting on Friday, May 25, Lagos hosts the Algarve Jazz Gourmet Moments Festival, an event that combines gourmet gastronomy and the best of jazz.
The main concerts of the festival, held at the Cultural Center of Lagos, all at 9:30 p.m., begin with the first performance in Algarve of two unforgettable names in the world of jazz - the Norwegian singer Silje Nergaard and the American saxophonist Rick Margitza who, with the Jazz Orchestra of Algarve, promise to provide a unique show, purposely designed for this festival and made of complicities.
On Saturday, the 26th, the eclectic rhythms of the Spanish Flamenco Jazz Company come on stage in the voice of Antonio Ingueta "Rubio". This band, composed of a group of great musicians, is famous for its vibrant compositions that excel in the mergers between Jazz and Flamenco. On stage, and accompanied by the renowned dancers Pol Vaquero, they will create a warm concert full of moments of pure energy.
Finally, on Sunday 27th, and to close the festival with a golden key, also in absolute debut in the Algarve, the meteoric, and latest world of jazz star, the Australian Sarah Mackenzie who brings us her latest album Paris in the Rain in a concert that integrates her world tour.
Together with the music you can enjoy the occasion, only from 18 to 27 May, to taste one of the various Gourmet Jazz Menus, specially designed for the event by the partner restaurants of Lagos and available from € 20 per person, always with algarvian wine included. The best thing is to accompany these magnificent delicacies to the sound of live jazz in the various Jazz Sessions that will be held throughout this period.
