The Portuguese commercial real estate market is expected to maintain strong growth this year in 2018, according to CBRE. The office segment is expected to remain very dynamic and the consultant anticipates strong growth in the hotel sector.
The director general of CBRE in Portugal, Francisco Horta e Costa, predicts that "by 2019 the market should remain very active since Portugal remains on the radar of multinationals and international investors, who should continue to bet on our country."
This is after what he calls "an exceptional year for the real estate market, and in particular for CBRE."
"Investors continue to look to Portugal as a market where there is still a lot to be done, and we have that same conviction," he concludes.
