From 22 to 24 February, Aljezur will be the stage of the Nature Tourism Biennial, an initiative that will have sustainability as a motto and that aims to bring together tourism professionals, businessmen, public decision-makers, certifying entities and researchers in a debate that is promoted by Vicentina - Association for the Development of the Southwest.
The aim is to place sustainability in the regional debate, challenging the "Algarve to look for a more sustainable future, with special attention to low density areas and protected areas, where a less-thought-out tourism impact can cause irreparable damage in the region."
The Nature Tourism Biennial will take place at Aljezur Multiusos and will have three more spaces, including an exhibition area focused on business solutions around sustainability, a B2B business area supported by the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR) Enterprise Europe Network, and a ludic space, where a camp will be held.
