Portugal has 9 hotels nominated for the Condé Nast 2019

Nine Portuguese hotels are nominated for the Condé Nast Johansens 2019 Excellence Awards (United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe and Mediterranean Area), which will be presented at a ceremony to be held at The May Fair Hotel in London on 5 November.

The list of Portuguese hotels named is made up of Hotel Infante Sagres, in Porto; Monte Rei Golf & Country Club in the Algarve; Tivoli Carvoeiro, Algarve; The Cliff Bay Hotel, Madeira; Torre de Gomariz Wine & Spa Hotel, Cervães, Minho; Santiago de Alfama Hotel, Lisbon; InterContinental Porto-Palácio das Cardosas, in Porto; Olissippo Lapa Palace Hotel in Lisbon and Terra Nostra Garden Hotel in the Azores.

Prizes are awarded based on online votes, guest ratings and reports issued by Local Experts about the recommended hotels on the website and even the latest brand guides. Hotels receive polls throughout the year. Each recommended hotel can continue to receive votes until October 19 on their profile on the Condé Nast Johansens website.
